spanish style white rice
ingredients
- 1 to 2 teaspoons of salt (to your liking)
- 3-4 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil (can be vegetable oil also, your preference)
- 3 1/2 cups of white rice (your choice if medium or long grain)
directions
bring water, salt, and oil to fast boil, then add rice and stir. let it come to a boil again and watch it until the water level has disappeared and the top of the rice is seen give it a stir and lower the heat to low and cover up. then wait about 15 minutes open and stir if the rice completely see through then you are done if not then an extra 5 minutes will do.
