Jack Daniel's Pecan Pie

ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 T. butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 2/3 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Jack Daniels
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 10-inch pie shell, unbaked

directions

Preheat oven to 375. In a medium bowl combine egg, butter, sugar, syrup, vanilla and whiskey. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over unpacked pie shell and add pecans. Pour the filling over the chips and pecans. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean. Set aside to cool.
