Broccoli Cheddar Soup
Rich and satisfying soup!
ingredients
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup half & half
- 1/2 cup flour
- 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/3 cup onion, fine diced
- salt and pepper to taste

Steam broccoli then dice into pea sized pieces.

Pour chicken broth in large pan with half-n-half. Whisk in flour and add remaining ingredients. Turn heat to medium. Stir often until mixture begins to bubble. Simmer for 30 minutes until carrots are tender and soup is thick.
