Brownie Batter Cupcakes

  • 1 box brownie mix

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cups canola oil

  • 1/4 cups water

  • 1 box white cake mix

  • 2 Tbs. canola oil

  • 1 1/3 cups water

  • 3 eggs

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Combine brownie mix, eggs, 1/2 cup oil, and 1/4 cup water in a bowl. Mix until combined, about 50 strokes. Set aside.

  • Combine cake mix and remaining ingredients. Beat on low until combines, then on medium for about 2 minutes.

  • Spoon brownie batter into lined muffin tins, filling cups about 1/3.

  • Spoon cake batter over brownie batter, filling cups about 2/3+.

  • Bake at 350°F for about 20 min (baking time will vary by oven). Cupcakes are done when you touch the top and they spring back.

  • Cool and frost with buttercream frosting.
