Hot Cranberry Casserole
ingredients
- 3 cups chopped unpeeled green apples
- 2 cups cranberries
- 1 1/4 cups white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup melted butter

Combine the green apples, cranberries and sugar in a bowl and mix well.

Spoon into a 2-quart baking dish. Combine the oats, brown sugar, flour and pecans in a bowl and mix well. Add the butter, stirring until crumbly. Sprinkle over the prepared layer. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until light brown and bubbly. Serve immediately.

You may top with vanilla ice cream and serve as a dessert. You can also make, bake and freeze the casserole.
