Ramen Noodle Salad

ingredients

  • 1 head Napa Chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 5 green onions, chopped (tops included)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) pkg. Ramen noodles, broken
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • Dressing:
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup salad oil or olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar

directions

Shred cabbage and combine with onions. Set aside. Brown noodles, sesame seeds and almonds in butter and drain on paper towel. Mix dressing and chill. Assemble approximately 20 minutes before serving.
