Epinards Aux Crevettes (Spinach with Shrimp)
Et voila c’est pret!!! You can eat it with some nice rice, or some butternut squash. I hope you will enjoy, straight from Baham my darling!!!
ingredients
- 4 packages of chopped spinach
- 1 lb of shrimp seasoned with old bay seasoning for seafood
- 7 tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt
- black pepper
- maggi cubes (can’t cook good Cameroonian food without it)
directions

1) Put the tomatoes, 1 onion, the garlic in the blender and make it into a puree

2) In a pan, cut up the other onion, and fry it with the olive oil
- 3
3) Once the onions are a light brown color, add in the puree. Cook for about 20-30 mins until most of the water has dried up. You also want to add the salt, maggi cubes and the black pepper during this step.

4) Add in the seasoned shrimp to the mixture, and cook for another 10 minutes

5) Once the spinach has thawed, press it to remove the water and add it to the mixture above. Cook for about 15 minutes
