Aunt Tami's Spinach Salad
A wonderful, tangy dressing for spinach salad, served hot, with a taste of curry.
ingredients
- 2/3 cup oil (vegetable or olive)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tblsp dry white wine or sherry
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Fresh Spinach leaves
- Hard boiled eggs, sliced
- candied or carmelized pecans
- red onions, sliced
- bacon bits
- mushrooms, sliced
- carrots, julienned
- red pepper, julienned
- any other vegetables you can think of
directions
place all ingredients in small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Keep hot and serve.
