Sandra's Oven Beef Stew

ingredients

  • 1 lb stew meat (season to taste with salt
  • pepper, garlic powder & greek
  • seasoning)
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 5 potatoes cut into medium sized cubes
  • 1 lb carrots cut into medium size pieces
  • 4 ribs celery cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 3 Tbs tapioca
  • 2 cans (12 oz each) V-8 juice

directions

    Place beef and vegetables in large oven safe pot.

  • 2

    Mix together the tapioca and V-8 juice. Pour over the meat and vegetables.

  • 3

    Cover with foil then the lid of the pot. Put in oven at 250 degrees for 5 hours.

Serve with salad and crusty bread.
