Oriental Appetizer

We were stationed with Bettie and Dr. Tom Fabian at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina (1994). Bettie is a gracious hostess, true southern girl and great cook. This is yummy.
ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chicken, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- 1/4 cup cashews, chopped
- 3 Tablespoons chopped green onions
- 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sweet and sour sauce (any commercial brand)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tablespoon milk

Mix all topping ingredients up to sweet and sour sauce. Cover and refrigerate for four hours.

Beat cream cheese and milk together. Spread on a 10" serving plate.

Spoon topping onto cream cheese. Drizzle with sweet and sour sauce.

Serve with crackers.
