Janice's Delicious Challah Bread Recipe
ingredients
- 1 challah
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp Karo
- 3/4 melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
directions
Take one challah, rip it into bite-sized pieces and put into soufflé dish. Beat 8 eggs, add 2 cups milk and 1 Tbsp vanilla - pour over challah and let sit in refrigerator overnight. Combine 2 Tbsp Karo (corn) syrup, 3/4 lbs melted butter, and 1 cup brown sugar. Pour over challah. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
