ingredients

  • 16 oz bag large elbow macaroni
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Dried onion flakes or fresh onion
  • Crema Mexicana (Cacique brand)--
  • “Mexican Sour Cream”
  • Salt & Pepper

directions

    In a large pot, heat 3 Tbsp oil.

  • 2

    When hot, add large elbow macaroni.

  • 3

    Cook until brown.

  • 4

    Add chopped white onion or sprinkle onion flakes.

  • 5

    Add tomato sauce & enough water to cover the macaroni. Add salt & pepper.

    Cook over low flame for about 20 minutes.

  • 7

    Add the Creme Mexicana, mix & enjoy!
