Grilled Flank Steak
Perfect for entertaining!
ingredients
- 3 1/2 lbs flank steak
- Salt and pepper
- 4 large shallots, chopped
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce

Pat steak dry with paper towels, then season with salt and pepper on both sides. In a heavy duty zip lock bag, or other airtight container, combine shallots, vinegar, sugar and soy sauce. Add meat and mix thoroughly in bag. Refrigerate overnight, or up to two days, the longer the better.

Prepare grill, discard marinade. Grill 7-9 minutes on each side. Cut across the grain into thin slices.
