Rhubarb-Strawberry Cake

ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teas. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 teas. salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups rhubarb
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 tbls. flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 teas. cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup pecans

In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. In another bowl sift flour salt soda. Alternate with buttermilk.

Toss in fruits and spoon into 9 by 13 plan.

Blend together the 1/4 cup butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and pecans . Sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
