FBI Chicken
Formerly known as Chicken Supreme
ingredients
- 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, each halved or quartered (I like quartered for ease of serving), layered in bottom of 9x13 Pyrex roasting pan/casserole dish
- Sliced American cheese - enough slices to cover all pieces of chicken
- 2 cans cream of chicken or cream of celery soup (I use one of each)
- 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons flour
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup white wine
- 1 to 2 sticks melted butter
- 3 cups stuffing croutettes

Place chicken and cheese in bottom of roasting pan.

Mix soup with white wine and pour over chicken.

Mix croutettes with melted butter and spoon over chicken.

Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hr.

Healthier version:

-substitute butter-blend sticks for butter

-substitute wild rice for croutettes (place rice at bottom of casserole/roasting pan instead of croutettes on top...no butter necessary

-substitute fat-free/low sodium salt with soup choices
