Jessica's Famous Chili
Jessic’s warm your belly chili is a healthy comfort food on a Winter day.
ingredients
- Jessica’s Famous Chili
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1 cup finely chopped red and green peppers
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 4 tsp chili powder (depends on how spicy your chili powder is, if really spicy add half that)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 Tbls chopped cilantro
- 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
- 1 can kidney beans drained and rinsed
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup chicken broth (or 3/4 cup water and 1 cube chicken bullion)
- 1/2-1 pound meat (whatever you like I usually use lean turkey burger, it’s really yummy)

-Add all ingredients except toppings into crock pot back on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.

Top with cheese, cilantro, and sour cream
