Caesar Salad
Of all the Ceasar salad dressings, our family has tried, this is the one we like the best.
ingredients
- 2 heads of romaine
- 1/2 pound bacon
- 1 cup croutons
- 6 T. vegetable oil
- 2 T. vinegar
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 T lemon juice
- pinch each of sugar, salt, pepper, dry mustard, tarragon
- dash tabasco
- dash worcestershire
- 1 t. chopped parsley
- 1t. chopped garlic
- 1 raw egg
- 3/4 cup parmesan
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 3 hard cooked eggs

Cook bacon unmtil crisp, crumble (or cut and then cook) and hard boil eggs
- 2
Set last 3 ingredients aside and combine the rest.

Put in bottom of bowl.

Add chopped or torn romaine.

Sprinkle with cheese, bacon and croutons.

Sprinkle with parsley.

Cover and refrigerate a few hours only.

Toss and add egg slices or quarters.
notes
If I make a large quantity, I do the tossing in a large unused keitchen garbage bag!
