Aunt Kris's Chile Egg Puff Casserole
A fluffy and filling recipe. Perfect for a lot of guests.
ingredients
- 3 cups whole milk
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 1 lb mild cheddar shredded
- 1 lb Monterey jack shredded
- 2- 7oz cans diced green chilies (may substitute jalapeños)
directions
In a 9X13 glass baking dish, alternate layers of cheese, and chilies (approx 3 layers of each). In a separate bowl mix eggs, milk, and Bisquick until smooth. Pour egg mixture over layered cheese and chilies and place in the oven at 350° for 45 min or until top is slightly brown and bubbly. Serve warm.
