Cottage Cheese Cookies

  • Cream sugar and shortening together; add beaten eggs and blend well. Add the rest of the moist ingredients. Mix together flour, baking cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Blend dry mixture into the moist mixture; add nuts.

  • Form heaping teaspoon of dough into a ball and roll in powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake in a preheated over of 350° until firm.
