Frank's Favorite Chocolate Cake
ingredients
- 2 C sugar
- 2 C sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cubes butter
- 1 C water
- 4 tbsp cocoa
- 1/2 C sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp soda

Mix sugar, flour and salt in large bowl of mixer.

In small, heavy saucepan, bring butter, water and cocoa to a boil.

Take from heat and add immediately to dry ingredients.

Add sour cream, eggs and soda.

Mix until well blended.

Batter will be very thin.

Pour into greased, lightly floured 10 1/2" x 15 1/2” pan.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees.

Alternate pan size and baking directions: Pour into greased, lightly floured 9" x 13” pan. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
