Chambord Brownies
A childhood favorite of my Heather.
ingredients
- Layer # 1
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-16 ounce can Hershey’s chocolate syrup
- Layer # 2
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 tablespoons Chambord liqueur
- Dash of red food coloring
- Layer # 3
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 sticks butter

Mix together all ingredients and spread into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350°

for 30 minutes. Cool.

Mix all ingredients together and spread over cooled brownie cake.

Melt together chocolate chips and butter. Let cool slightly and spread over brownies. Cut into 1-inch squares.
notes
You may substitute green Creme De Menthe for the Chambord.
