Spinach Calzones
ingredients
- 10 oz frozen spinach
- 1 1/2 cup Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 10 oz package pizza dough
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp water
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar marinara sauce

Cook spinach, drain.

In large bowl mix spinach, Swiss, ricotta, onion, basil, garlic powder and pepper.

Roll dough into 15x10 rectangle. But into 6 squares. Divide spinach mixture among squares. Brush edges with water and seal closed. Prick tops with fork. Combine egg and water and brush over calzones. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.

Serve with Marinara sauce
