Creamy Potato Soup
very tasty and creamy comfort food . Serve with good ole grilled ham and cheese sandwich and call it a night!
ingredients
- 4 12 oz. cans chicken broth
- 2 12 oz. cans evaporated milk
- 5 lbs russet potatos
- 5 1/2c onions
- 8 slices of cooked bacon (crumpled)
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1/3 c fresh parsley

In a big soup pan;
- 2
Saute onions and garlic in butter until carmelized. (Kindra- carmelized means until they are transparent, clear in color, lol)

Pour in evaporated milk and broth

Add potato’s , bacon, bay leaves, celery seed and whipping cream
- 5
Boil until potato’s are tender then simmer
- 6
Add fresh parsley
