Katah (Armenian Pastry)
ingredients
Dough- 3 eggs
- 1 cup softened butter
- 7-8 cups of flour
- 2 yeast pkgs. (3T Red Star) use warm water and small amount of sugar
- 1/4 tsp. (scant) salt
- 1 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cubes of butter
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. nuts, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tbs. cinnamon (optional)

Add 1 cup finely chopped nuts, 2 tbs. cinnamon after sugar, Mix well. We prefer the nuts & cinnamon filing. Cook on 350 for 10-15 min.
