Caramel popcorn
A gooey, soft homemade caramel popcorn.
ingredients
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 batches/bowls of popped corn, plain
directions
Air pop 3 batches of corn, set aside. In a large pan add the sugar, syrup and butter--do NOT mix--cook until just beginning to boil/bubble. Take off heat, stir once and pour over popcorn. Then pour the sweetened condensed milk over the popcorn and mix well, making sure to coat all the popcorn. Cool and enjoy.
