Great with Corn Bread
- A big mess of fresh turnip greens
- Smoked Ham Hock
- Onion, chopped
- Tablespoon of sugar, or to taste
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
I experimented with cooking these greens until Dennis finally said I had it right. He would know as his Mama used to make them for him when he was growing up. He likes to dip corn bread in the bowl and let it soak up the broth.
