Egg Sausage Casserole
The casserole sets overnight in the refrigerator so you have to plan ahead for this one!
ingredients
- 9 eggs
- 1/4 t. nutmeg
- 1 lb. sausage
- 6 slices white bread
- 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 cups milk
- salt and pepper, to taste
directions

Brown sausage, put on paper towel and pat dry to remove grease.

Mix eggs, milk, nutmeg, salt & pepper to taste, sausage, and milk.

Break bread into above mixture. Mix well. Put into 9 x 13 inch glass dish.

Refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
