Remembrance Day Chili
ingredients
- 2 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 2 large onions, chopped fine
- 2 green peppers, chopped fine
- 2 - 10 ounce/284 ml cans tomato soup
- 1 - 10 ounce/284 ml can mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- salt - to taste
- pepper - to taste
- 2 - 14 ounce/398 ml cans kidney beans, drained
directions
Brown ground beef, drain . Add onions and green pepper. Cook until tender. Add soups, spices. Cook at medium low until completed heated through.

This was brought to us by Gertie when dad passed away. When I went to get the recipe she said someone brought her this same chili when her husband passed away.
