Pineapple Cake with Rum-Caramel Sauce
ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup pineapple or lemon yogurt
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup yellow or white cornmeal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8-oz. can crushed pineapple (juice pack)
- RUM-CARAMEL SAUCE:
- 12 oz. jar of caramel ice cream topping
- 1-2 TBS dark rum OR reserved pineapple juice
