SPAGHETTI DINNER
This is one of those “throw together” type recipes. Eyeball what you think will taste good!
ingredients
- 1 LB Italian Sausage
- 1 LB Hamburger
- 1 pkg. Spaghetti Seasoning
- Tomato Sauce
- Tomato Paste
- Diced Tomatoes
- Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
- Red Wine
- Pasta
- Fresh Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- Onion
- Garlic
- Fresh Basil
- Sage
- Thyme
- Bay Leaf
- Kalamata Olives
- Pasta, your favorite type
- French Bread
- French Bread
- Butter, melted
- Garlic, chopped
- Fresh Basil
- Fresh Parmesan Cheese, shredded
directions

Brown the Italian sausage and hamburger. Add onion and garlic while meat is browning.

Add the spaghetti seasoning as directed per the package.

Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Add water and wine to thin the sauce.

Add diced tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, basil, sage, thyme, bay leaf and kalamata olives.

Add Parmesan during the course of cooking.

Serve over pasta, topped with more fresh parmesan cheese.

Serve with French Bread. Recipe to follow:

Slice French Bread in half. Pour half the melted butter on each bread half. Top with garlic, fresh basil and shredded Parmesan cheese. Broil until golden brown and serve warm.
