Tiffany's Brownies
The tastiest brownies I’ve ever had. They are quick and easy and never dry. Everybody’s favourite.
ingredients
- 1 C oleo
- 2 C sugar
- 4 heaping Tablespoons cocoa
- 4 eggs (beaten)
- 1 C flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 C chopped walnuts or pecans (opt)
- Icing
- 2 C icing sugar
- 2 tbsp oleo
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 2 tbsp water (boiling)
- 2 tsp vanilla
directions
Cream sugar and oleo, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes. WILL LOOK UNDERDONE. ICE WHILE HOT.
ICING
Mix ingredients together and ice while brownies are hot and let stand until cool.
notes
My favourite thing about these is the use of cocoa powder for the chocolate taste. It's hard to believe they could taste this good without having to melt chocolate. Icing them while hot gives them a nice shiny coat.
