CHILI
ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. diced green pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 quart canned tomatoes
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) kidney or red beans
directions
Brown onion, green pepper, and beef in a dutch oven; drain. Add seasonings and tomatoes. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 1 hour. Add beans and simmer 15 minutes longer.
