BREAKFAST SOUFFLE
This recipe is in Grandmama Dody’s recipe collection. Great for breakfast or brunch at our family gatherings!
ingredients
- 2 lbs. Pork Sausage
- 9 Eggs (Beaten)
- 3 c. Milk
- 1 1/2 t. Dry Mustard
- 1 t. Salt
- 3 slices Bread (Cubed)
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar Cheese
directions

Cook sausage over medium heat until done, stirring to crumble. Drain.

Combine cooked & drained sausage with remaining ingredients, mixing well.

Pour into a well-greased 9x13 baking dish.

Cover & refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

This has become our Christmas tradition. I prepare it on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning, it cooks while we do stockings. When it is ready, we take a break to eat, then finish opening gifts. No time spent in the kitchen instead of with family!
