Creamed Spinach with Bacon
ingredients
- 1 10 oz package frozen spinach
- 2 slices bacon, finely chopped
- 1/2 C finely chopped onion
- 2 T flour
- 1 t seasoned salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 C milk
directions
Prepare spinach according to package directions; drain well. Saute bacon and onions until tender, and bacon is crisp. Remove from heat. Stir in flour, garlic, salt and pepper, blending well. Add milk. Return to heat, cook stirring constantly until thickened. Add spinach, mix thoroughly.
