Cabbage / Hamburger Soup

Stage 1

ingredients

  • 7 oz Ground beef
  • 1/2 head cabbage sliced
  • 1 med Onion
  • 2-3 tsp minced garlic (I like lots of garlic!)
  • Beef Broth (amount depends on how you like your soup,
  • thick or soupy)
  • 1-2 tsp Caraway Seeds (to taste)
  • Salt and Pepper

    Brown ground beef with onions and garlic.

  • 2

    Salt and pepper and add a little beef broth during browning.

  • 3

    When beef is brown and onions are cooked down, add more beef broth, caraway seeds and the cabbage.

  • 4

    When cabbage cooks down, add final beef broth to achieve desired consistency.

  • 5

    Add stevia to taste – we like our soups with a hint of sweetness!
