Christmas Sugar Cookies

ingredients
- 2/3 cup of shortening
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 4 tsp. of milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
directions
Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla, add egg and beat till light and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients into creamed mixture and mix well. From a ball, wrap in wax paper and chill 1 hour. Roll out and cut with Christmas cookie cutters, place on greased cookie sheet and decorate with Christmas sprinkles. Bake at 375 for 6 to 8 minutes. Let cool on trivets
