Macaroni Salad
This is reprinted from the Mouse River Park cookbook that Paula contributed to. We made it this summer and the kids loved it.
ingredients
- 8 oz. medium shell noodles
- 6 eggs, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped pickle
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. mayo
- 1/2 c. Miracle Whip
- 2 tsp. mustard
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- salt and pepper to taste

1. Cook shells until tender; drain and rinse

2. Cook eggs until hard boil stage

3. Cool and shell eggs

4. Add noodles, cooked eggs, onion, celery and pickles in large bowl.

5. Mix mayo, Miracle Whip, mustard, salt and pepper, basil, garlic salt and milk together in a bowl and stir.

6. Sauce can be thinned with extra milk.

7. Mix into noodles and refrigerate.
