Scalloped Corn
A Thanksgiving and Christmas staple for as long as I can remember from the handwritten cookbook from Dorothy.
ingredients
- 2 cans cream corn
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 packages Saltine crackers
- 1 stick of butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
directions
- 1
1. Mix first three ingredients and 1 package of crushed Saltines in large bowl
- 2
2. Pour mixed ingredients in a greased 9x9 pan
- 3
3. Top mixture with 1 package of crushed Saltines and butter cut into slices
- 4
4. Bake at 350 degrees on a baking sheet for one hour or until knife inserted in center is clean.
