Meat on a Stick
ingredients
- 2 lbs. pork shoulder cut into 1 1/2" cubes (with a little fat left on)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c water
- 10 soda crackers crushed
- 1 T Parmesan grated
- 2 T oil and butter
- S&P
- Bamboo sticks

On 8 inch bamboo sticks, skewer about 5 pieces of pork, leaving a 3 inch handle. Mix soda cracker crumbs on a paper plate with the Parmesan. Beat an egg and 1 T water in a shallow bowl. Roll skewers of meat in the egg mixture, then roll them in the crumb mixture. (might need to spoon it on)

Brown in a frying pan in hot oil/butter, turning often to brown all sides.

Place on a lightly greased baking pan. Add 1/4 Cup water and cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake another 20 minutes.

A family Favorite and requested many times for Birthday Dinner. Grandma Germaine made this and called it, "Mock Chicken Legs."
