Oriental Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
ingredients
- 1 pkg. pepperidge farm frozen patty shells
- 1 c. beef broth
- 1/3 c. dry white wine
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1 T cornstarch
- 1/2 t. dried ground ginger
- 2 T. vegetable or peanut oil
- 1 c. broccoli florets
- 1/2 c. red pepper strips
- 1/4 c. sliced scallions
- 1 1/2 c. leftover sliced cooked steak or London broil
- 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 T. sesame seeds
directions
Prepare patty shells according to package directions. In a small bowl, mix beef broth and wine, soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over high heat. When very hot add broccoli, red pepper strips and scallions. Stir-fry until tender crisp; add beef slices and water chestnuts. Stir in soy sauce mixture all at once. Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens. Spoon into warm patty shells and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
