Amaretto Cake

ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 6 eggs (room temp)
- 1 teaspoon each of extracts (vanilla, orange, lemon)
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1/2 cup amaretto
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups sifted cake flour
- Glaze
- 1 cup sifted confectioners sugar
- 2 tablespoons warm milk
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Beat butter and sugar til creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well

after each egg. Add sour cream and beat. Add extracts, baking soda,

and salt. Gradually beat in flour.

Add Amaretto and beat well.

Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes,

or until done (serves 10-12).

Glaze

Sprinkle sugar slowly into milk and blend smooth.

Mix in Almond extract, Spread on cake and let stand

until glaze hardens
