POTATO GRATIN

ingredients

  • 1 Russet potatoes, peeled and sliced to 1/4"
  • 1 Cup whole milk
  • 1 Cup whipping cream
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 Cup grated Gruyére
  • 3 Tbls Dry bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbls grated Parmesan

    Preheat oven to 350°

    Combine:

    potatoes, milk,cream,garlic,salt and pepper in large saucepan.

    Simmer until potatoes are 3/4 cooked -

    8-10 minutes.

    Remove potatoes from heat and stir in Gruyere.

    Pour potatoes into shallow pan.

  • 8

    Combine bread crumbs & Parmesan and scatter evenly over potatoes.

    Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
