Swedish Meatblls
ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 3/4 C Bread Crumbs, soaked in 1/2 C Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 Onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground Allspice
- 1/4 tsp ground Nutmeg
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 3 Tbsp Flour
- 3 C Beef Broth
- 1 C Sour Cream

Combine the first 8 ingredients. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls.

Place 3/4 of the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the meatballs for about 10 minutes.

Remove them from the pan. Stir the flour and the remaining butter into the pan.

Add the broth. Simmer until it thickens, about 2 minutes.

Reduce heat to low; stir in the sour cream.

Return the meatballs to the pan for 1 minute and serve.
