brown sugar hard sauce
use on bread pudding
sift 1.5 c brown sugar
½ c butter
⅓ c cream
2T vanilla or bourbon or rum
raisins (optional)
-sift brown sugar
-beat butter till soft,adding sugar gradually about 2 minutes
-beat in slowly ⅔ c cream
-beat in drop by drop 2 T vanilla/bourbon/rum
serve raisins along with sauce
