Aunt Peggy's Cheese Ball
ingredients
- 1 10-oz. pkg. Sharp cheddar cheese (I use Kraft 12 oz pkg. pre-shredded. I don’t like the finely shredded. Use the coarse one.)
- 2 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
- 2 tbsp. chopped pimiento, drained (I use small glass jar of already diced)
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- garlic powder to taste
- salt to taste
- paprika or parsley flakes to coat
directions
Put cheddar and cream cheese in bowl and let get to room temperature. Add onion, green pepper, pimiento, and lemon juice. Add garlic powder and salt to taste. Go easy and add more if necessary. Mix all ingredients well. Chill until firm. Shape into ball. Roll in paprika or parsley flakes. Serve with crackers.
