Sarah Hill's Famous Sausage & Potato Casserole

ingredients

  • 2-2 1/2 cups Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes (Ode-Ida Dinner Browns work well)
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb cooked and drained sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked pepper
  • 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

directions

  • 1

    Fry the potatoes and onions in butter until golden. Place in greased baking dish.

  • 2

    Cover the potatoes with the shredded cheese. Crumble the sausage over the cheese.

  • 3

    Combine the eggs, milk, and seasonings and pour over the sausage.

  • 4

    Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
