Bites - Delicious Cocktail Meat Balls

Makes 5 dozen meatballs

ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcester sauce
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup minces onion
  • 1 egg
  • 11 tablespoon parsley-fresh, use less if not using fresh
  • 1 10 ounce jar grape jelly
  • 1 bottle -12 ounces chili sauce

    Mix together all meat ball ingredients except shortening.

    Gently shape in to 1 inch balls.

  • 3

    Melt shortening in large skillet. Brown meatballs in skillet. Remove and pour off fat.

    Heat chili sauce and jelly in the skillet. stir Constantly until jelly is melted.

  • 5

    Add meatballs to mixture and stir until coated.

  • 6

    Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
