Keith's French Toast
Keith is a friend of my wife’s friend’s sister’s neighbor’s gardener
ingredients
- 1/2 Cup butter
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 4 tbsp. maple syrup
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 Cup milk
- 1 loaf Challah Bread

Night before:

Boil butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup in sauce pan for one minute; pour into 8 1/2 X 11 baking dish.

Layer the sliced Challah bread on top of the mixture. Beat 5 eggs, cinnamon and milk; pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

The morning of:

Bake at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes in glass pan, 45 minutes in an aluminum pan.

Serve the pieces that were face down in the pan, face up on the plate.
