Sal's Cranberry Chili Meatballs
I choose this to remind You of your time in Burlington Co the cranberry capital of NJ. Makes a great appetizer, hors-doeuvr or side for a party.
ingredients
- 1 16 oz can of cranberry sauce (can be jellied or whole berry)
- 1 12-16 oz bottle of Heinz Chili Sauce
- 1/2 jar of Salsa (use whatever brand you like can be mild, medium or, hot variety --- I use Pace medium)
- 2 Tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 cup of diced white onion
- If you like it a little zippier add some Hot sauce to taste
- You can make your own cocktail party sized meatballs but I use a bag
- from the store of cocktail meatballs (about 95 in a bag)

Prepare the meatballs according to package directions, while the meatballs are browning prepare sauce.

In a 2 qt sauce pan combine the rest of the ingredients and stir on heat until smooth.

Combine sauce and meatballs in bake dish.

Heat 350F for 20-25 mins.

You can microwave to reheat, serve hot
