Shrimp Spread
This spread is a pretty salmon color, delicious and easy to make. It will look very appealing on your special tray or serving platter.
ingredients
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1 envelope gelatin
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green or red pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 small cans cooked shrimp, drained (OR)
- Fresh or frozen shrimp thawed and chopped.

Blend tomato soup and cream cheese over medium heat.

Mix in gelatin and stir constantly until liquid reaches a slow simmer. Do not boil. Let mixture cool and add other ingredients.

Pour into pretty bowl or dish. Cool at room temperature or refrigerate until spread is set. Serve with crackers, pita bread or taco chips.
